Hogle Zoo

On October 23 my mom, my dad, my aunt Kathy, Miley and I went to the Hogle Zoo! It has been so long since I've been to the zoo and Miley loves animals so I was so excited to go. We had a lot of fun looking at all the animals and riding the carousel. The weather was perfect and there wasn't very many people there so I didn't even get people rage. It was very nice. I tried to take pictures but my camera was being dumb so I made sure my parents both took pictures and I got copies. Before I bought Miley a souvenir I wanted to see what animal Miley liked best. Her favorite was the penguins. She was excited to see the penguins she even did her happy feet dance in her stroller. So of course I got her a penguin stuffed animal. She didn't really like the orangutans, but she didn't mind the gorilla. That's what scared me. It was huge! I asked my mom if it was real. It's not the first time I've ever seen a gorilla, but it was really close to the glass and I wasn't sure. It was kind of scary. My favorite animal at the zoo was the baby elephant. It was so cute! At first when we arrived to the elephants there was only one huge elephant and I knew there was supposed to be a baby, so I asked my mom where the baby was and she told me that the huge elephant we were looking at was probably the baby. I didn't know so I was kind of disappointed because he wasn't as cute as babies should be. Again....he was huge! Than we started to walk away and out of some huge garage like door comes other huge elephant and a cute little elephant. I was so excited that the baby elephant was small and so cute! We also went on the train ride, which we all really enjoyed. Also, Miley made a friend. While we were looking at the animals in a bulding her and another little girl around her age kept running around playing with each other. It was really cute. It was a fun day at the zoo!

That little elephant is so cute, I bet you wanted to take it home with you!

Since Miley loves penguins, you guys need to let her watch "Happy Feet" such a funny kid movie!
